Liberty HomeCare & Hospice Services has been recognized among the “HomeCare Elite” in a national survey that determines the best providers among the more than 33,000 home care providers in the nation.
OCS HomeCare, a product of National Research Corporation, identifies those agencies based on five domains of performance – quality of care, quality improvement, patient experience, process measure implementation and financial performance.
OCS HomeCare uses publicly available data from Home Health Compare and the CMS Cost Reports to create the HomeCare Elite List of agencies. The quality of care, process measure implementation, and patient experience are used to measure agency performance.
Agency performance in each category was compared against other organizations in their state and nationwide (including U.S. territories). The categories were combined into an overall score, with the greatest importance given to quality of care.
Liberty offices in Wilmington (NC), Aiken (SC), Myrtle Beach (SC) and Cana (Va.) were recognized in the survey.
“Being named to the national HomeCare Elite list is a landmark achievement,” said Liberty HomeCare & Hospice Services President Tony Zizzamia. “It reflects our commitment to patients and determination to help them receive proper care that produces the best outcome. We are thrilled to be selected among the great home care agencies in the nation.”
