Wound, Ostomy, Continence Care

Liberty HomeCare & Hospice Services employs an array of state-of-the-art wound care programs including vacuum assisted closure. Also known as negative pressure wound therapy, this treatment has revolutionized the way wounds heal.

By applying negative pressure to a wound site, the treatment helps draw the edges of the wound together and actively promotes granulation tissue which seals the wound. This process limits the possibility of infection and maintains a moist, sterile environment for faster healing and skin closure. It’s just one of the many ways Liberty HomeCare & Hospice Services uses innovative technology to improve our patients’ lives.

Our certified wound care nurses with advanced wound care training provide treatment and consultation. Multidisciplinary support is available as necessary. Our certified wound nurse specialists provide in-service education or consultative services.
